If you are using ArvanCloud’s CDN service, but your website does not open for visitors from certain Internet service providers, you can follow the instructions provided in this user guide to fix the problem.
Web hosting server firewall
The first item on the checklist is the firewall settings on the web hosting server of your website to ensure that ArvanCloud’s IPs are whitelisted. This can be done using one of these two methods:
- Whitelist ArvanCloud’s IPs in iptables
- Whitelist ArvanCloud’s IPs in htaccess
You may not be able to change these settings due to the lack of permission. In this case, ask your website’s host to apply these settings for the problem to be fixed.
Rate limit settings on the web hosting server
This issue can be caused by rate-limiting. Check out the rate limit preferences on your website’s web hosting server to see if the request quota is a standard number and change it when needed. You may not be able to change these settings due to the lack of access. In this case, ask your website’s host to apply these settings for the problem to be fixed.
If none of the solutions above helped you fix the problem, please submit a support request in the ArvanCloud website, so that our team of experts reviews the issue and provides the solution needed.
