Installation and Setting up Duplicati

In this guide, we will review the Windows version of Duplicati. To download this software, visit the Duplicati website and get the version suitable for your operating system. After installing the software and running it, its main page will open on the browser. Then, start the backup by selecting the Add Backup option.

On the first page, click Next after choosing a name for your backup file and specifying its encryption and password for access.

In the next step, set the Storage Type to S3 Compatible and then the Endpoint, Secret Key, and Access Key information in the respective sections. This information is available to you through the Object Storage section of the ArvanCloud user panel.

After adding the required information in this section, you can check the correctness of the entered settings by clicking on the Test Connection option. Finally, click on the Next option to enter the following settings section.

In the following steps, according to the data to be backed up, the backup schedule and advanced settings of Duplicati are performed, and finally, by clicking on the Save option, the initial settings are completed.
